IM Barnes Consult Sarl was set up in 2017. The objective of the company is to provide Luxembourg resident directors to the boards of investment funds, both in the regulated and non regulated space.
The company provides consultancy services to promoters and service providers within the investment fund and security servicing areas. This includes training and conference speaking.
The service is provided using expertise gained in 33 years within the fund servicing industry. This includes security servicing and fund administration with particular focus on Depositary services, fund administration, risk management and AML. It has involved working in Germany, Luxembourg and the UK across various asset classes and strategies. These include long only, private equity, loan and debt funds, real estate, hedge funds and ETFs. From a fund perspective UCITS, AIFMD and SPV structures are covered.
The experience also extends to the set up of Luxembourg funds and provision of service providers.
